📰 NEW: Muse 2.0
Something of interest to those looking at digital whiteboard/creative expression tools. Muse launched their 2nd edition - upgrading the productivity element, entering more of a mindful productivity space with their new features.
📚 Quote from “Four Thousand Weeks”
Finally, I’m reading the new book by Oliver Burkeman “Four Thousand Weeks” - about our overwhelm with productivity. This quote stuck out. We continue to replace our tasks with more, more ways of doing things, better processes to do “more” - combined with something Chris Dancy told me a few years ago “we cannot create time” - things are connecting dots.
We simply find ways to do more, when we shouldn’t try to continue the conveyor belt thinking around productivity. I will continue to explore this.
⏰ The MakeTime Timer: Worth it?
Offline productivity tools continue to get popular as people want to move away from screen time hence the surge of reMarkable tablets in the last 2 years.
Does your desk have space for a timer? And is the MakeTime timer worth it?
🇬🇧 The UK Commence 4-Day Work Week Study
Would the 4-day workweek present more productivity benefits or a paid nightmare?
This is really hot on my mind at the moment, as someone who has an editor on 4-days a week, I really wanted to see whether it provides benefits in two ways.
This is a great overview by the BBC exploring the value of the experiment.
🧑🏻💻 Thanks for tuning along this week!
More next week, so share this on Twitter as your one act of kindness 😉
